It looks like a nice lens but in all samples I’ve seen so far, the bokeh looks nearly identical to 50STM which is not great (bubbly). 32IS bokeh is not the greatest by any stretch but it is a noticeable improvement. Also, STM lenses are typically much slower to focus than USM.

I might agree here on the 1st and 3rd counts (bokeh quality, not quantity and STM motor speed)

I've only ever used the 35mm f/2 IS USM on a crop, and it rocked. But, I've heard it's less interesting mounted on a full frame.

You do get what you pay for, it is cheap and small/light enough.
