Intentional backfocus?

Is anybody here intentionally microadjust AF to slightly backfocus on a regular basis to have more of subject in focus ?

I.e., have AF

Re: Intentional backfocus?

I'll use autofocus initially, but depending on the subject I'll then tweak it manually.  I wouldn't use AF fine tuning/microadjustment for this because the sizes of things I photograph with the lens varies too widely.

With Autofocus, I'll  probably  use the manual override (AF+MF).

As a rule, I think I do focus "deeper" for both close-up and landscape than the AF does on it's own.
