I've got one in the post and the first two lenses you mention will be amongst the first that I test out.

I found the autofocus of the 135L using the regular Canon EF-EF-M adapter was only ok with my M50. If the focus was way off it would struggle to find focus. I had to manually bring it close first and then AF would be fine. Bit of a funny one. I'll post back here anyway as soon as I can confirm how they work.

Thanks haven't seen a review test for sigma 35 art f1.4 and 135 f2.0 l . if vignetting was really bad or not

Great thread indeed

instead of buying yet another lens, I opted to upgrade all my existing ones, i-e

canon 100-400 is L II ( becomes 71-286 f3.2 f4...),

sigma c 150-600( become 3.5 4.5, 106 426mm ),

canon 50mm 1.8 become 35mm1.2;

24-105 f4 becomes a very nice 17-74 f2.8

sigma 8-16 vignetted badly at the widest end ( 5mm or so now ), the rest is okay

I think I'll buy another viltrox speedbooster for my sony a6500 ( what with the clear image zoom, I'll get even more versatility )

That's nice. Have my 6d pair with the m50. Image quality and low light 6d is great but ain't great in  auto focus. While m50 is great auto focus but low light is not good. Hopefully speed booster will be good overall. I shoot jpeg a lot. so vignetting is a big deal for me thats why I'm asking

So my speedbooster arrived this afternoon.

Vignetting is pretty bad, but not totally unusable, for both the Sigma 35 Art and 135L. No edits have been done to the images below - simple conversions from raw using Lightroom (first two) and DXO (second three).

Centre sharpness seems pretty good though.

AF on 135L suffers from the same issue - if it is far out to focus to begin with it will not hit focus, you have to manually get it close first and then it will AF just fine.

It just arrive today too. did you update it? Here is my photos for sigma at 1.0, canon 70-200 f4 at f2.8 and Canon 135 at f1.4 and canon 40mm at f2.0. Didn't have prob with focus in all of them. Shot all in jpeg.

Paired with canon EF 50mm 1.8 stm and Sigma 24mm 1.4.

The EF 50mm 1.8stm works well and the focus peaking is working.

However, the focus peaking function is not working when adapted sigma's 24mm. Moreover, the function of using manual focus after auto focus also missing as well.

Anyone experience these issues?

Oh wow my 24-105 F4L had been made redundant since buying the Tamron 24-70 F2.8 G2

Re: Viltrox Speedbooster - Compatibility with my Lenses

I have the Viltrox Speedbooster EF-EOS M2 for my canon M50 M2. When attaching the Canon EF 70-200mm IS USM ii to this booster and body the camera reads F/00 and will not switch to autofocus. When using the Viltrox EF-EOS M adapter the lenses operates fine. What Am I able to do to have this speed booster work with this lens?

First thing I would do is clean the contacts of the lens, the camera and both ends of the speed booster with isopropyl alcohol. That worked for me when some of my lenses wouldn't work on my new camera even though my other cameras were happy with them.
