After switching from 5D MK IV, the EOS R is amazing!
7

Hey guys, after a couple of days, I am very happy with this camera.

The following pictures were taken with the RF 24-105mm L and the EF 70-300 / 4-5.6mm II. Both are great for the camera.

All photos I developed in LR 8 from RAW. I hope you like it.

Best regards

Peter

Would love to hear what you like about it in comparison to the 5div! I’m sure many would be interested in hearing more detail! Nice pics too

Many Thanks! I'm especially happy with two details, the ELV and the fully portable monitor. I missed that a lot on the MK IV.

The also very important point, the accuracy of the AF. No front or back focus anymore. The 70-300s had to fight in particular.

Even dog photos are easily possible with the really slow EOS R, because there is less waste at the short intervals. The 5D IV was very good, but for me personally, the R is not worse just because they have fewer pictures / sec. makes.

All in all, the R is for me, the right camera. Everyone can decide that for themselves.

I wonder if R stands for RED because this camera has a lovely rendering of red tones. Much better than 5D4 which was a bit muted in that area.

I would be interested in some skin tone shots!!

I found some hawaii pictures that were really good.. and some where a green tint could be seen.

OOC jpegs would be nice (preferring shots of caucasian, darker tones seem to render fine)
