Creating an Anaglyph 3D book

I got a great deal on a  40 page photo book through groupon and am going to create a 11x14 book of my favorite 3D pics using Anaglyph 3D. I've printed out big Anaglyph photos and with care, you can preserve the colors, just takes a little practice.

Anyone, have experience doing this? Would like hear your experience. Of course, I will keep a set of red/blue glasses in an envelope pasted inside the front cover.

(Note, I've printed many color books of travel trips, etc. so I know that drill.)

I never made books, but in the past I used to print a lot of A4 anaglyphs on my home inkjet printer.

Here are some advices:

- I relied on half-color anaglyph

- the paper should be semi-mat

- ensure wide black or dark-gray borders; the wider the better; pages with black background would be ideal

- those foldable glasses can ruin the whole experience; try to consider a better alternative

Thanks, I was thinking matte paper too. Plus the black borders make sense--more of a looking through a window feel.  Yeah, the glasses--I do have pro pair I can use.

As for color, half-color is a good idea. I also have a technique for boosting color without creating crosstalk that I've used before...we'll see.

Re: Creating an Anaglyph 3D book

I have not made a 3D anaglyph book but I have printed some blue/cyan anaglyph photos on photo paper and the results were excellent.

Because the paper print has far more resolution than what you see on screen, the printed 3D photos look exceptional. This reminds me that I should print some more of my 3D photos this way.
