My A6000 won't turn on after Firmware Update ( 1.0 to 3.2) Mac OS Sierra

Bonjour!

I tried to update the firmware of my a6000 ( from 1.0 to 3.2) but without success. I received a message saying to stop, remove and replace the battery and start again, again and again. When I put the battery back on, the device did not turn on. The red light near the battery compartment remained on red even when the unit was off. The only time the red light goes out is when I remove the battery. Can you help me, I have to shoot my street-art stuff next week. ;-(

Thank you in advance for your help

ps: I have already posted my request on the Sony France forum, but with no satisfying answer

Don't panic - it has been reported before on this forum and is not the end of the world (or the camera). For example:

Hi SYMPA,

Thank you very much. How do I display the hidden answers?

Just click on 'flat view'.

But I think the summary is:

- Make sure the battery is charged (if possible, charge it out of camera)

- With the red light on, connect the camera to the computer and perform the software update again.

Run the update in the foreground and prevent the computer from sleeping or starting the screen saver.
