Pany 42.5mm f/1.2 vs Oly 25mm f/1.2

my thoughts...

All things being equal, I'd probably go with the longer lens as the fast aperture combined with the focal length will give even shallower DOF, which is a big part of the attraction of fast lenses. I'd also be using that sort of lens more for portraits and shooting performances, rather than an on the go shooter like I would be with a 25mm lens. For a lens that I'm going to be using on the go, Id want something smaller and less obtrusive and would be willing to sacrifice on speed a bit. You don't have to sacrifice much either as you can get the Pana/Leica 25mm 1.4 (that I own and really like) that though it isn't a tiny lens, is still much smaller than that 1.2 that you're looking at. If I were buying now I'd be looking at that new Sigma 30mm 1.4 too as that will be cheaper and I hear good things about it...
