Some landscapes with the 32
17

I am still putting the new lens through its paces. I've been limiting myself to shooting with just this lens, which is taking me back to my early days of photography with an SLR and standard 50mm lens. We got to our workout a few minutes early yesterday, so I had a chance to get some shots of the lake as the sun came up.Normally, for a scene like this, I would use the 11-22, but it was fun to see landscapes differently with the 32:

A few more here:

Edit: DPR is doing its usual weird thing of not showing the aperture in the EXIF. These were all at either F4 or F5.6.

Great test, beautiful images. The colors are really something with this lens. Thanks.

Where these raw and processed or JPEG straight out of the camera?

Lovely shots Alastair.  I gave you a thumbs up earlier but only just now stopped playing this this lens long enough to reply properly.  Lovely colors in your images!  We've had a drought for years here which just broke in a thunderstorm that descended within seconds of me collecting my 32mm lens.  You've got a fantastic view where you are.  Is that a volcano remnant in the distance?

Thanks John. These were shot RAW, and processed with Lightroom.

Thanks Marco. It looks a bit like a volcano remnant, doesn't it? I'm pretty sure it isn't, though. Boulder is in the foothills of the Rockies, and that's what you're seeing in some of those shots. This was facing west, with the sun coming up behind me.
