The more I use this lens, the more I like it. The only thing missing is IS, but I expect that most of the shots I take with this will be people shots, so I'll need to have a shutter speed of around 1/100 or faster for that anyway. IS, whether in lens or body, is great for still life and landscape, but for people I need 1/100 or faster to freeze small movements. Here are a few more:

As the length of a thread approaches 150, the probability that someone will make the obvious "it's not the camera, it's the photographer" remark approaches 1.

Looking good. I see F2 in most of the pictures. Did you try 1.4 and decided not to post?

Are these out of te camera jpgs?

It looks like a very capable lens. And your B&W are vey pleasant.

Thanks. I used F2 in most of these for a bit more DOF. I'm very pleased with the performance at F1.4. See my first post about this lens for lots of shots at F1.4.

These are all shot RAW, converted in LR, using the profile for the 22 F2, because LR doesn't have a profile for the 32 yet.
