NX3000 in the cockpit
3

Although I have a collection of other cameras including DSLRs (Pentax) + Panasonic Bridge and Travel Zooms, when it comes to taking Aerial photos my NX3000 is my go to camera. Mainly because of the sharp and fast 30mm F2 and 16mm F2.4 lenses. These make a lightweight combo (important when flying in a light aircraft) and easy to use one handed in the cockpit.

These first 2 are full resolution images:

Ramsbury - Wiltshire

Newbury - Berkshire

And these are cropped versions - and because the 30mm F2 is so sharp I can afford to use it and crop rather than try and zoom with a slower lens:

Hamstead Park - Berkshire (not to be confused with Hamptead Park in London)

Former USAF base Greenham Common near Newbury

Newbury Racecourse

All photos processed from RAW in Lightroom (V6)
