Storm approaches

A couple of sailboats cruising in ahead of the brewing Atlantic storm. The first is the East River and second, the Hudson. Yep, got soaked shortly after taking the second photo.

This one could use a fresh coat of paint.

Really nice images. The composition in #2 is fantastic, IMO.

Thanks for that. . . it was an odd location, that was the most coherent position I could manage.  It's much overgrown closer to the falls proper than I remember it to be.

Went to Corsicana, Tx to pick up a Fruit Cake. Saw this, the sun was reflecting off the over hang kind of illuminating the "City Jail".

I like the monochrome version, plus it seems to have an angry / hard-working "face" on the front.

I would bet that when all of those lights are engaged - he can work at night as if it was broad daylight...

Fungi

I was out and about with the Mitakon 35mm F0.95 the other day and saw these three fungi, all of them quite large.

Disregard the EXIF saying 21mm,   These are all with the Mitakon 35mm.

Re: The Little Chapel

Good work Kottan the much reduced colour has the effect of imparting a greater sense of remoteness.

Nice work. I particularly like the gradations of colour in the second.

Three pictures each deserving of high praise IMO. The first, of a gentle sunset with a sense of peace is beautifully framed - I love trees! The second, again well composed, has such crisp detail I feel I reach out and get my hand wet. The third well composed picture has calm water and gentle clouds from the time exposure and engenders a sense of quietude.

Deserving of more comments and likes.
