G7x MKII - fish and fog
6

Just after dawn on a local lake with a fairly dense fog that although had moments of thinning but persisted all the time I was there. The G7X MkII  lens has a great range from wide to short telephoto and the fast aperture means it can work in dim light without forcing up the ISO too much. Definitely a worthy successor to my beloved G12.

And one splash of colour at last!

Very nice shots. I also got the G7X Mk II as a replacement for a G12 - I use the small format camera those times I don't want to haul my heavy DSLR around. I am real pleased with the G7X.

Great shots. I don't see any fish, though. Were they inside the ducks?

As the length of a thread approaches 150, the probability that someone will make the obvious "it's not the camera, it's the photographer" remark approaches 1.

You're right no fish ( I had a try with my rod), but there was another guy fishing on the pier. Maybe should be "Fishing and fog"?

Thanks for the kind words. This camera is exceeding my expectations with the quality it can produce- thanks to the fast lens that means the ISO usually keeps below ISO 800 even for interior shots.
