Lenovo Mirage VR 180 vs Panasonic 3D1?

After getting the Oculus Go and a potentially great viewing platform for 3D, I was wondering if anyone had compared pics taken with the new VR180 Mirage camera and an old camera like my trusty 3D1? Thanks,!

I have the Lenovo Mirage VR 180 and am very disappointed in picture quality.

Is it the resolution or the general quality, i.e. not nice to look at?

I think you're comparing apples to oranges here. These are very different cameras and which is best depends upon how you plan to view them. I have the 3D1 and can confirm that it has excellent image quality -- better than the similar Fuji W3 camera. But neither of those cameras provides a super wide viewing angle like the Mirage. So I would predict that a 3D photo from the 3D1 would look great on a 3D TV (it does on mine) but meh on a wide angle VR HMD like the Oculus.  While an image from the Mirage would look meh on the 3D TV but could look great on the Oculus.

As with a lot of things photographic, it isn't always an either/or.  It depends upon the goals of your photography and how it will be viewed.
