Re: Bosruck - Austria

Hello,

i have been thinking of getting the 16-55 as an allround lens for hiking, ski-touring ... Sure there is the 18-135 but i would like to get 16mm on the wide end. With the samyang 12 + 16-55 i will be covered for most situations.

The only complain i have is that it is big & heavy. In my bag there is also the 18-55 but i dont use it that often.

Usually i carry my camera with the peak design clip outside.

I used to have an Ricoh gr which i loved, but the sensor was full of dust after every trip that i wasn´t willed to deconstruct the camera 2 times a month for sensor cleaning. (I hope the gr 3 or X80 is weather sealed)

What is your favorite lens setup for hiking, skitouring .....

regards christoph

I like very mutch the 3 of the mountain

Since CC are welcome, IMO a bit of PP is needed to get the max from these shots

See below :

Think no more and get the 16-55. Stellar lens and great at 16mm. Hiking and skiing are perfect for it as it affords you the ability to not have to change the lens to get somewhat tighter and is sharp at all focal lengths. it is indeed heavier than the 18-55 but well worth it.
