Does SL 2 save setting adjust if we set lens , do we have to reset settinng stuff after turn off/on back ??

Changes made to the camera settings are retained after it is powered off.

so after power off it will become default setting ? they not keep same ratio last adjust ??? that suk, we have to set back take alot time , other camera doesnt erase like that /

Apple, it sounds like you have picked your camera, and a bunch of very good lenses!  Here are a few from the SL1 (the prior generation), but same lenses that you are getting.  May I suggest that you stop worrying about equipment, and get out there a shoot!  All of the cameras and lenses available now are much better than any of us will ever aspire to (unless you are a pro or are getting seriously into a specific genre of photography that requires specific equipment).

Here is one from your 18-55...

capable of somewhat low light wide angle

And one from your 55-250 (a great little lens!)

capable of semi macro, or at least close up.  a great little tele lens.

Now it is up to you to put this new equipment to use!!!  Have fun!

The Canon SL2 (200D) is less expensive than the Canon T7i (800D) camera. That's for sure. Enjoy your new camera.

It doesn't suck.  It keeps the settings you were using when the camera is turned off. Believe me, you want it to operate this way.

The viewfinder in the SL2 is different than the T7i. The SL2 gives a larger "view" and it is brighter than the T7i. This is likely due to it having a different auto focus system than the T7i. The T7i has more capable auto focus but the trade-off is it makes the viewfinder less bright since it has more auto focus points and has an overlay to the display that presents more information to the user than the SL2 does. I too liked the bigger, brighter viewfinder display of the SL2 which is one reason I bought it over the T7i and 77D. However, keep in mind that the T7i has a better auto focus system than the SL2.

you got it ....

so u own sl2 , can i see some shot pic scence if u dont mind share with >> thanks first >

I think i will go witth SL 2 with this bundles

1 Camera + 4 Lens

1.8-50 mm

10-18mm

18-55mm

55-250mm

is this plan good yet ??? for beginner

That is an excellent package to start with and it might be all you ever need as these lenses are just flat out fantastic performers. I own them all and am very pleased with the photos they can produce. They offer a nice combination of image quality while being small and lightweight to carry around. As I get older, not having to carry a lot of heavy gear is something I desire more and more. You might consider adding the EF-S 24mm f/2.8 prime lens to this set. I will give you more low light shooting capability on the wider end and it is very economical to purchase.

Here are a few photos taken with the SL2 and some of the lenses you plan to buy. Click on the "Original Size" link under each photo to see the full resolution and quality of each picture.

It is one I like also. Her name is Lily and she is a three legged wonder. She was diagnosed with cancer in January of 2017 and did six months of chemo after her rear right leg was amputated. So far she has beaten the odds and we are blessed to still have her with us.

This photo was taken when she likes to lay on her window bed in the morning sun. It also shows how much bokeh you can get at 45mm with a f/6.3 aperture setting. The newer, smaller EF-S 18-55mm f/4.0-5.6 is such a wonderful lens to use. IMO, it punches way above the $87 price I paid for it.

The last 3 what lens and dslr model is that ???

All were shot with the SL2.  The 4th was taken with the EF-S 18-55mm f.4.0-5.6 kit lens.  The 5th photo was taken with the EF-S 10-18mm and the 6th with the EF-S 55-250mm STM.

not showing information/

can i get some more shot ??? kinda kool

I think these do a good job showing the capability of the SL2 and lenses you are considering.  You can find more by looking in the "Show Your Snaps" threads.

Aw, sorry to hear Lilly is sick. Make the most of the time you have.

Interesting info. about the lens. I bought the SL2 yesterday. It came with the lens though I figured I'd stick with my Sigma 17-50 for a kit lens. I've read great things about the new Canon kit lens and your message makes me think I should try it out.

I initially bought the EF-S 18-55mm f/4.0-5.6 lens to use only for video since I had no STM lenses in that range.  I don't do a lot of video so it seemed to be a good, inexpensive lens to buy for this purpose.  Once I used it for a few stills I was extremely surprised with how well it performed.  I now use it whenever I don't need a faster lens like the EF-S 17-55mm I own.  I find I get about the same results from either lens when light isn't an issue and I don't have to carry around a heavy lens.

I was a little sloppy editing the pine tree picture but the grain around the needles mostly disappears if you download the higher quality JPEG.

I love that dog photo

Aw, sorry to hear Lilly is sick. Make the most of the time you have.

Interesting info. about the lens. I bought the SL2 yesterday. It came with the lens though I figured I'd stick with my Sigma 17-50 for a kit lens. I've read great things about the new Canon kit lens and your message makes me think I should try it out.

can i see some shot your new SL 2/

Sure. I shoot raw and edit all my pictures in Lightroom. I took 63 pictures yesterday (right after buying the camera). These are a few of my 3 favorites.

I was a little sloppy editing the pine tree picture but the grain around the needles mostly disappears if you download the higher quality JPEG.

What lens do u used / ??? look cool/

Just the 55-250 Canon lens

So it default like that right ???

i am ok with t7i if i dont check out v/f witth sl 2 , and now i feel sl 2 make me comffortable look when taking shot:-)

The EOS 200D (SL2) has a viewfinder magnification of 0.87. whereas that of the  EOS 800D is 0.82. Therefore it is not surpirsing that the EOS200D is more comfortable to use.

The image quality will be the same, but it will be more convenient to compose and frame with the EOS 200D.

I was attracted to the XXXD / Rebek camera line due to their small size, but put off whenever I looked through the (small) viewfinder of one. The EOS 200D was a pleasant surprise. I bought one this Christmas and I (and my wife) are so far very happy with the aquisition.

Here are some, although there may be other factors as operator error and settings that may limit their quality. Most were shot with picture style Landscape, user defined setting with colour saturation +2, jpg straight out of camera, no post processing
