NX5 Manual focus

I like using old some manual-focus lenses with my NX5, but with the aftermarket adaptors that I have there seems no way of invoking the "manual focus assist" function that i have with the Samsung auto-focus lenses set in manual focus mode. If I acquired a Samsung original PK-NX adaptor would this function become available with my older lenses, please?

TIA, Chris

No, it will not work. But you may try to press the Ok button to get magnification manually.

I tried the "OK" button, but that doesn't seem to work with this model. There's no mention of the capability in the manual, I was hoping there might have been an undocumented work-around or an update to enable this feature

Well ... weird things! I was fiddling about with my NX5 this evening and found that the OK button WILL invoke the manual focus viewfinder magnification when a manual focus lens is mounted via an adaptor. Exactly what I was doing wrong previously I don't know, but it's now working, so happy bunny My old Jupiter and Industar rangefinder lenses will get a lot more use now!

For reference, the feature seems to work best in Aperture Priority mode, as one might expect. Pressing the OK button a second time, or half-pressing the shutter button, reverts the viewfinder to "normal" mode, there's no focus confirmation indication.
