Wideangle lens for the M10/EF-M mount

Hi guys. This my first post, so don't shoot me :o

I have recently purchased a Canon M10 with the Canon 15-45mm lens. This will become my new travelbuddy, since I find my current Canon EOS 7D a very heavy camera to carry and hard with focussing during filming.

Next to the 15-45mm I will purchase a converter to use my EF-lenses (I have three left), but also wanted to buy a separate wideangle or fisheye lens for the M10. I find several options online and to be honest, I have been looking at the more cheaper options, since my next overseas trip will be an expensive one. I find several reviews about these lenses from people that are quite positive

I have found

the Vitrox 7.5mm 2.8 (around $135)

the Meike 6.5mm F2.0 (around $150)

The Sonomel 7.5mm 2.8 (around $125)

I also believe these three to be quite light to carry around (correct me if i'm wrong).

I don't believe Canon made a wideangle for the M-series... My currrent 15MM is nice, but a lightsensitive primelens to add would be nice.

Do any of you know more wideangle lenses I can consider? Maybe a 8,9 or 10mm...

And maybe some of you already have one of these lenses and can share your views on them

Canon do a 11-22 native lense for the M. I'm open to be corrected, but some of the wide open lenses don't cover the sensor properly...

Besides the canon 11-22mm look at the Rokinon/Samyang 8mm f2.8 lens. I have been eyeing it but can’t seem to pull the trigger

I tried the Samyang 8mm but didn't care for the "fisheye" effect.  Also found "de-fishing" it to be tedious and not all that successful.

Returned it and ordered the Samyan/Rokinon/Bower 12mm f/2.0 and am very pleased with it.  It's a bit more expensive than the lenses you've mentioned, but the build and optical quality are worth the extra cost as far as I'm concerned.

I also have the EF-M 11-22 but it's two stops slower so you need to weigh that against the convenience of the zoom range and auto focus.

Too bad your URL redirects to a webshop, but not a product (maybe it's sold out?)

I know these exist for the EF-mount, but are they also EF-M compatible?

I like the EF-M better than the EF version.

It might be over your budget but you could try https://www.amazon.de/gp/aw/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?k=11-22 or https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00D7ZUTZ6/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1521928698&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=11-22mm&dpPl=1&dpID=51jc0SHw7IL&ref=plSrch

The Samyang 8mm f/2.8 EF-M is much nicer than the f/3.5 EF lens but both are manual focus fisheye lenses with no electronics. Amazon.de don't sell the f/2.8 lens but Amazon.co.uk do, see https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00TS9ID5S/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1521928363&sr=8-3&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=Samyang+m&dpPl=1&dpID=41sk98dPfxL&ref=plSrch

The Samyang 12mm f/2 is nice and fast but more pricy than the Canon zoom and their 21mm f/1.4 is better than Canon's 22mm f/2 but 3x the size and 1½x the price and without autofocus, electronics or EXIF data.  For most purposes the 22mm f/2 is a better buy.
