Cannot get Camera Calibration to work in LR or PS CC (Windows 10)

I've searched Adobe, viewed multiple YouTube videos, created profiles and placed them in the seemingly appropriate places in my Windows 10 machine and still cannot get Adobe to recognize my Samsung NX30 (or NX200 or NX1) files. When I look in the Camera Raw and LR profiles directories, I see all the cameras listed. When I bring a file into LR or CC to edit, the only choice I'm given is the "Adobe Standard" and a drop down of the 4 "standard" versions. The programs DO recognize my Nikon D300 files.

If you've had this problem and can help, please do. Many thanks.

I think you only get the option when the RAW files have been converted  to DNG using the Samsung DNG Converter software first.

If you just load in the RAW file into lightroom or Photoshop it will only give you Adobe Standard.

Sorry, I was unclear, I have converted the files to .dng. Neither DNG nor native Samsung RAW give me the camera calibration option for Samsung cameras. BTW: I have uninstalled and reinstalled the CC programs, but the problems persists. Nikon NEF and converted to DNG files give me the proper Nikon options. Go figure. Frustrating.

Adobe LR5 open directly NX1 files, it is "aware" of the camera profile, and I think you do not need to re-apply camera profile. This should be true for the lens, as the meta-tag in RAW file. OK, some newer lenses ( ) maybe not recognized.

Newer Adobe LR should be "compatible". . .

Re: Cannot get Camera Calibration to work in LR or PS CC (Windows 10)

Thank you for the reply. I had my NX30 converted to Infrared and then created a camera profile using the Adobe profiling tool. I would think that, in addition to the "standard" profile, LR or ACR would "see" the additional IR profile and offer that as an option. It does not. Thinking I'll just have to live with it. Frustrating.

I am not using LR much, just to adjust a little and export the "final" image, but I read somewhere that you can set a kind off "default" processing when you import images and maybe you can set as default your settings.

I have to learn more about it, I usually compress a bit the exposure extremes - a kind of HDR for paper / screen.

Update...Re: Cannot get Camera Calibration to work in LR or PS CC (Windows 10)

With the new version of LR/ACR I can, at last, get my Cam Cal profiles to work.
