T2i shutter speed/FPS for short films

I want to start filming cinematic short videos with my t2i and want to shoot at 24fps but the shutter speed doesn’t give me the option of 1/50 so I can follow the 180 rule the closest shutter speed is 1/45 or 1/60 which shutter speed should I switch it to and will this  noticeably change the look of what I’m shooting compared to 1/50

Canon EOS 550D (EOS Rebel T2i / EOS Kiss X4) Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T2

I don't know if it's something that can be switched to on the fly but PAL gives you 25/50 and NTSC gives you 30/60. Check to see if you can change to PAL if you really want 25fps.

You can also use Magic Lantern firmware, which gives you much more flexibility with video recording as well as additional features.

Set to 1/2 stop increments you get ... 1/30 ... 1/45 ... 1/60

Set to 1/3 stop increments you get ... 1/30 ... 1/40 ... 1/50 ... 1/60.

As a practical matter, for your purpose there is virtually no difference between 1/45 and 1/50 shutter speed.  IMHO, YMMV
