Arca Swiss L Bracket SL2 (200D)

Just wondered if anyone found a L bracket or plate that will fit the SL2?

I did a ton of searching but can't find anyone making one yet?

I've looked at the site and don't see anything that matches but I've sent them a message in hopes.

With the SL2 being so popular I'm pretty surprised I haven't seen any solution yet? And the camera has been out for over 6+ months

I really love the camera and would love to fit a L-Plate.

Apparently the L bracket for the SL1 does NOT fit. As another member has both and confirmed it didn't work.

Anyone know how long it takes for accessories to be made for the SL2?

Seems like a lot of the Rebel series cameras don't have specific L brackets for them.  My T5 certainly doesn't, maybe the newer and more popular ones do though.

I found a bunch on ebay that are generic enough to fit and be usable, the downfalls are I cant open the side door to access the remote trigger port without loosening up the bracket or having it on at an odd angle.  Also cant open the batter door without loosening up the bracket.

Thanks for the reply. Really looking for a "fitted" L bracket for the SL2.

I have seen there are ton's of "universal" brackets. I'm looking to still be able to access all ports without any issues.

You maybe right and there might not ever be a dedicated L plate for the SL2, but if there is one someone has found, I hope they will share where they got it from.

I still have an SL1 L-bracket (see my post ) and now an SL2 body (I sold my SL1 body).  True, it does not fit - it's not even close.  Periodically I do check on ebay for someone selling a Chinese-made plate (also RRS and Kirk).

In today's age of CNC machining and cheap Chinese products, I see the perception of demand as the only roadblock to an SL2 L-bracket.  I believe they will one day be available.

I posted here to "bookmark" this thread in case someone finds one.

It's been over a year. I've still been looking but found nothing... there is even a SL3 out but still no L bracket/plate?

Anyone else have luck?

Three legged thing is what you seek.

I have one on my T6i, get the large one if you use a battery grip.  No need to spend a fortune on gear just for a name.  $49 for the regular and $59 for the large. Orange is cool.

UPDATE small rig answered the call. There is now a cage!!!! will fit your SL3 or 300D as well!

It seems to be an interesting solution looking for a problem.😉  However it's not an L-plate.
