That combo is the reason I'm using MFT! In terms of versatility it is unrivaled!

You know, that’s probably my reason too. Before them, it seemed like a dalliance in M43, but now it seems like a commitment. And one I don’t regret at all. Unlike my time with an A7.

Isn't the combo E-M1.2 + 12-100/4 getting heavy?

Great eyes and great captures, no matter what system you are using.

Hope to see more of your work.

Really nice shots; good to see someone rating the enjoyment factor as important and using their skills to get the best out of their equipment!  Kudos to you.

Thanks for the feedback and georgeous pictures.

I also come from a Sony A7RII but hated the weight en big lenses...(24-70GM)

But the IQ was phenomenal to be honest...and going from FF to M43 is a big step. Especially for noise and that makes me hesitating...

Of course that is a compromise that you may find hard at first. Especially if you pixel peep. I stepped back in stages and have had less concern adjusting. That said, the Pro lenses are so good I’d pitch the images against my A6300 any day. In low light the IS helps me get the ISO down a couple stops or more which means noise issue is moot.

And I’ll pose this question. How big do you print or how big and what resolution monitor do you view on? If a 4K TV is 8Mp, even my 16Mp EM5.2 looks sensational on my 65” TV. I sure as eggs don’t print anything near that size!

Yes, you're absolutely correct...

That's what I said to myself when looking at the A7RII pictures at 100%.... Detail is enormous but overkill for me...

To be honest, I don't print pictures a lot and max. A4 size.

Wonderful pictures, Thanks for sharing. What is your most preferred lens for general photography?

Thanks.

For street I use mostly the 17mm f1.8 and the rest the 12-40 although the 8-18 is having a lot of use, too.
