Canon Eos M10 with 22mm F2

I am interested in buying a mirrorless. I look for pocket portability. I am undecided between the Ricoh GR II (really small) or alternatively the Canon Eos M10 with 22mm F2. In the case of Canon I can not find the overall dimensions with this lens. Anyone who has this product can tell me the actual size of space? Thank you

The EOS M10 is about the same size as the Ricoh. So, the lens on the M10 is extra space needed.

If that is your only criteria, get the Ricoh.

The Ricoh has a 28mm full frame equivalent lens. The Canon 22mm is a 35mm full frame equivalent lens. This may also be something to consider.

I can measure that combo when I get home today.

Ricoh is definitely pocketable, while M10 with 22mm isn't really.  But it comes for price of very restricted focal lenght choices....

You can get an idea with this comparison. That's for the older GR, the GR II is bigger in all dimensions from what I can see. To my eye it looks like they're very similar in size.

I regularly work with ionizing radiation. That probably explains a lot about the post you just read.

But with the Ricoh, you are stuck with that lens. With the M3 you can expand your horizons by changing lenses.

Re: Canon Eos M10 with 22mm F2

Thanks for the information and the reference link. I point a lot to portability. In fact, the dimensions without lenses are the same. The thickness increases by about 2 cm. for 22mm lenses. With the lent22mm eos m10 is very small but certainly not pocket. In terms of quality, what can you tell me? Thank you

Dimensions of the camera alone are known. Now, depth of the camera with 22mm lens mounted is about 65mm (2,56in).

That´s a lot for pocketable camera. You certainly need to go under 50mm.

Try this:

Go up to the menu, click on "Lenses", then on "Canon", and scroll down to 2012, when the lens was released

Re: Canon Eos M10 with 22mm F2

Thanks for the reply. In fact the optimal size to be transportable in a pocket should be less than 40 mm. I'm sorry because the features of the eos m10 seemed really interesting .. !!
