Canon 760D/Rebel T6s creaking grip?

Hi guys,

My other half has just kind of upgraded from a old 7D to a 760D/Rebel T6s. She has fell in love with the camera and especially the weight, but one thing she has mentioned was the grip creaks when held tightly.

Is this is normal thing?

I know the build is more plastic than her old 7D and my 60D, and it doesn't effect the use, but it was something I was intrigued about. I'll try take a video of it later to show what I mean if it helps.

Yup, it's "normal."  Many of the newer bodies do that (incl my new M5).  Just something I ignore.

Ah, as long as it's normal she will be happy with that!

Thanks!

Yeah, the creaking is the polycarbonate shell against the magnesium frame. It usually takes a lot of "grip" to get it to make enough noise to hear, though.
