Pen e-pl6 underexposure

Hi guys,

i just managed to buy what seemed to me a real bargain on ebay, i got an E-pl6 body basically new for 160 euros (200 $).
The camera looks great and i would use it basically to replace my oly xz2 increasing the iq still traveling light. After the first series of shots i noticed a huge camera tendency to underexpose the scene. Looking at the histogram all seems to be there but when i open up the raw on my laptop the image i clearly darker compared to the lcd screen. I would say 1 stop or even more...
Some of you now anything about that? any experience related to this camera? am i doing something wrong?

the normal ESP mode. I just realized that the underexposure output is just related to the raw file. I just shot the same scene with the same settings both in raw and jpeg, the raw resulted exposed correctly and the jpeg overexposed (yes, but this is because i setted the +1.3 as exposure value)...i don't have the point of what's doing the camera...

Don't have a clue. Best option would be to cancel any      Customization and revert to factory setting. Guess it would bena good starting point.

Ty Felice, i think i'll give a try right away.
If i shoot raw i have to overexpose, if i shoot jpeg i have to go balanced...this cannot work for what i wanna do. I'll let you know how it goes, thanks for the support

Re: Pen e-pl6 underexposure

I solved it. Just to clarify what happened, the fault is related to the freeware program i used to open up the files, using lightroom all is good and balanced. Damn freewares!
Hope this experience can be useful to some of you

Marty

p.s: the guilty program is Lightzone
