Re: Where can I find a "dummy battery" for the NX500?

NX500 doesn't work without a battery, unfortunately, but if the battery is full, the camera will happily work from USB power without extra heating (that I noticed). This does block the port for shutter, but there's a fairly simple and robust option to trigger the shutter via Bluetooth (that is, from smartphone but without the need for wifi, etc).
While I appreciate your assistance, I don't think you understand what it is that I'm trying to do here. I'm not looking to operate the camera without a battery installed, but to use a "dummy battery;" i.e., an empty battery case that takes the place of the OEM battery in the camera's battery compartment and connects the camera to an external battery via a wire cable. This also leaves the micro-USB port free to be connected to a remote shutter controller.
These are commonly available for most cameras and are often used in connection with an a/c adapter to power the camera with it connected to an a/c wall outlet. You can see a photo of the one I use with my A7R -- note the wire that into the battery compartment -- here:

Both the A7R and NX500 batteries are 7.4 vdc, so it should be a simple matter to change from camera to the other by simply unplugging the dummy battery at the connector I've located near the tripod socket and plugging in the dummy battery for the other camera.
The only issue is that I haven't been able to locate a dummy battery -- or "dc coupler," as they are sometimes called -- for Samsung's BP1030 or BP1130 batteries, hence my post. I'm positive they do exist -- I've seen photos of them! -- so I just need to find a source to sell me one.
