MIOPS vs Pluto trigger?

There is a thread elsewhere but no one replied to the OP.

Like that member, I am interested in these triggers and wondered if anyone could compare them in practice, or comment on either?

I placed my order (Pluto), did my payment an now I'm waiting...nothing since 2017/11/30!

Would never buy again from China!!

Any luck with the Pluto yet?. I was about to order one last night but their web site says on holiday and can't ship until Feb 25th!.

I ended up going for the UK made `Versatrigger` not to be confused with a similar named trigger for drums! Will post as and when I have it sussed!.

Pluto is like a very bad copy of MIOPS i think.

I bought and tried both of them.

Miops contains more features and functions according to Pluto. If you wanna use the trigger more professionally, you can buy MIOPS and i was very happy with their customer service! They helped me about product details very well!

As a sum I prefer Miops !

Looks like one is influenced by the other, not sure which was launched first.

Not used MIOPS but Chinese Pluto is really mediocre.

Pluto is good for amateurs only. price is surely a plus for Pluto.

i am going to order the Miops. the pluto has several bells n whistles but i have been trying for 6-7 months to get a decent drop. have watched 2-3 tutorials several times and done hours of practice. i had the splash kit. i had success in about an hour. wonderful images. but it broke out of warranty. not worth sending to england. so i wanted to try the miops now.

I recieved mine some weeks later. accu is always empty, could not use it outside.

I cannot recommend to buy it.

I ordered my Miops and received in 5 days,,easy to use as well

Hi. I would like to know how your Versatrigger is working out for you. I have purchased both the Miops and Pluto in hopes of using the laser mode outdoors, Both work reliably inside away from a window or bright lighting, but utterly fail in any strong ambient light. I have rigged both with light shroud and pinhole orifices, and it works moderately well, provided you can orientate the sensor orifice away from the ambient light source (usually the sun). This setup requires serious rigging and is not suited for a quick and easy impromptu setup outdoors, which is what I need often. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks

I'm waiting sincehalf year on my pluto trigger but it wasn't delivered at my home address,much excuses but no trigger and now I have the Miops trigger and Miops is just fine to me Id it works great don't need  the Pluto any more, the  Miops do the right job,  can do all the Pluto can do ,I'm happy with it,

Recharge is simple(it has a replacebale battery) ,update the firmware is easy,, soI think you better buye the Miops or try it from someone you know who has the Miops allready. That cansave a lot of money!
