Wrist Strap Recommendation

Hello, I bought this cheap Fotasy wrist strap for my DP1s cam, but the thread size in the strap was far thicker than the eyelet in the camera, which I find very odd, do you guys have any recommendations for a wrist strap for the weird eyelet in the DP1s?

Wrist trap I bought, but the thread is too large for the eyelet.

Re: Wrist Strap Recommendation

I've used something similar to this

https://www.ebay.com/itm/10-pcs-pack-Lanyard-Hand-Wrist-Strap-Rope-Band-Black-Universal-Camera-Cam-U-disk/351949149496?hash=item51f1cdd538:g:boMAAOSwPCVX-Gnx

The DP1s doesn't really weigh anything anyway, and the small lanyards have the advantage of  not adding bulk to the camera at all. I mostly feel that the "luxury" wrist straps makes a small camera unnecessarily bulky.

My turn to not understand ...

The thin thread will easily be passed through the DP1s eyelet and formed into a loop. Then the thick thread is brought up, over and through the thin thread loop outside of the eyelet. Then the eyelet hangs on the thin thread and the thick thread goes on the wrist.

haha, yeah, I might not have explained myself correctly, so here it goes again: the thin thread is thicker than the space in the eyelet and I couldn't get it through to form the loop

Yep, I have a DP1 in my hand as I type so unless the thread is of unusually vast thickness this must be SPAM DOH!!

Wow, good greid, increíble, . . I just now looked at my DP2s eyelets and they are the same design as the DP1s. It is my good fortune that I don't use straps!!
