Can the Olympus TG5 take a dome lens, using a converter?

Hey, I'm very close to buying an Olympus TG5 and matching fisheye lens, for shallow freedive and surf photography.

I'm also interested in fitting a dome directly to the camera, for over/under shots.

I have no interest in the Olympus housing, as the whole appeal of the TG5 is I can grab it and jump-in. I'll mess about with housings and o-rings for a M43 or DSLR, later.

Can I fit a dome by another manufacturer to the Olympus TG5's 40.5mm mount, using a converter?

For example, here is an 'Intova Wide Angle Lens IAL Air Lens Correction Dome', which requires a 46mm mount.
And here is a 40.5mm to 46mm converter.
Would this work?
And either way, would other domes potentially attach to the 40.5mm mount on the Olympus TG, either with or without a converter?
Thanks

Hi Alex,

I was wondering the same. Did you purchase the adapter and dome and tried it out?

Nope! But Ikelite recently launched the DC1 dome for their TG-5 housing that can - allegedly - do split shots!

Thats a pity. Recently got this set from amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/Seafrogs-Waterproof-Olympus-Underwater-Pictures-Black/dp/B07H32PLJM

It works for split levels as well and it is reasonably priced. However, I would prefer to use the dome without the housing for some quick snorkeling shots. Will see if I can find an 40.5 to 67mm adapter and try it out myself.

just made some suggestions here:

Hope that helps...

PS:  AOI is the OEM for the original Olympus housing, they started not too long ago to sell directly (through local distributors) to the general public.
