Oly 75mm f1.8 focus speed on GH5

Hello! I'm finding myself really enjoying my 75mm, but I'm going to be honest the enjoyment is not coming from the focus speed side of things... on my GH5 I find it misses focus more often than I'm used to even in decent light (maybe 10% of shots?), and racks focus probably the same amount. When it does hit, it's (roughly) half as fast as my next slowest lens (the 100-300 v2). I use single-point focus exclusively.

I love the "character" of this lens (if that's even a thing) and will keep using it regardless, but I'm interested to know if this is normal behaviour for this lens on a non-Oly system.

I may also have just been spoiled by DfD, so I'm totally prepared to shut up about it and just take pictures if this is the norm.

I haven’t noticed any problems with my GX8 in terms of focus speed or accuracy.

In fact I don’t think I can tell the difference between Panasonic lenses with DFD and my Oly 45 or 75 without. Focus is quick with all of them.

You know, I didn't even think about this (for the lens anyways; the body is fully updated) so I'll definitely give that a shot. Past that it sounds like the consensus is that the speed difference shouldn't be noticable, so... I'm not sure what to do next. I might actually make some more controlled tests to see if it's all just in my head.

It seems to me that my 75 mounted on my GX85 isn't as fast or sure to focus as my other lenes. The 12-100 focuses quite fast. The 15mm and the 42.5mm/1.2 both focus very fast. Firmware is all up to date. The 75 has other reasons to keep it.
