IS on E-PL6 body vs OIS on 12-32mm lens

Does anyone know which of the two stabilization systems is more effective?

Tested on my E-PL5 (has same internals as E-PL6) I generally get 3 stops of stabilisation with IBIS, with the 12-32mm I seem to get 3 stops of stabilisation at 32mm but only 2 stops at 12mm. Turn on Lens IS Priority and also have IBIS on as IBIS works as the master switch for stabilisation.

I definitely would rather use OIS with my E-PL5 if available, mainly because it works all the time and is quieter than E-PL5/6 IBIS (listen to IBIS when you do a 1 second exposure!).

The old 2 axis IBIS has a habit of adding a tiny amount of blur from what I've seen due to the way it works.

My experience with the EPL5 and the 12-32 is that the Lens OIS is better than the body IBIS.

The EPL6 is basically an EPL5 with a couple of firmware changes.

I've made a new page about stabilisation rules, have yet to add more details and any comments about what to use when. The E-PL5/6 is covered in the first two charts.

With E-PL6 and earlier, best to use OIS if possible, with E-PL7 and later then the IBIS would most likely be a better choice.

Except at say over 100mm where OIS always gives a stabilised live view, makes it easier to frame.
