A perfect companion

Mostly I use this camera for my work: fits comfortably in. my jacket pocket, unobtrusive. I got it for the wider angle, good for taking photos of buildings.  It is sometimes raining so to be able to stand outside in the rain taking photos without any concern that the camera is getting wet is ideal. I say 'outside' because in some buildings it also rains on their inside!

I use a custom setting including EV minus 1 and HDR. A slight wait whilst the camera is busy means that a quick nip outside to take a photo during a downpour in the hope of a dash back indoor is rare but so what.

The photos look good viewed via Lightroom 6 and print nicely. I had a Tough before this model but upgraded.

A friend who is a smartphone loyalist asked why have a pocket camera when I could use the camera on my phone. I suggested he dunk his phone in a pint of beer. me my camera also; wait a few minutes before removing them then see which device is still able to take photos.

Agree that the TG-4 is a nice camera.
