Panasonic G85 with Olympus 40-150 2.8 AF?

Hi,

Considering buying the Olympus 40-150 2.8 to go with my Panasonic G85.  I'm curious about the AF speed of this combination.  I normally stick to Panasonic lenses, but hope this combo will work well.  I realize that I won't have Dual IS capability, but the IQ may be worth it.

Can anyone comment on the AF speed of that combo?

Hi

I use the 40-150 on my G80 so the same as yours and the focus is lightning fast as you would expect with this lens.

No IOS as the lens has none built in but the IBIS still works fine, image IQ is superb.

GX7 with Olympus 40-150 2.8 AF

I can campare the 2,8/40-150 on the GX7 with the EM5ii: I find AF with both bodies is comparable, with the GX7 being slightly faster and hunting a little less in low light.

A fantastic lens, if you don't mind the weight.
