NX2000 vs NX3000?

Hi all,

After finding out that the NX3000 has better image processing than the NX300, I am wondering about how it compares to the  NX2000 (which is actually newer than than NX300).

I decided to keep the NX3000 over the NX300 because iv'e liked its image processing more, but i really miss the touch focus functionality, so, if the image processing is identical in both the NX2000 and the NX3000, I might just get myself the NX2000.

Thanks

I haven't used the NX3000 but owning an NX2000 and NX200  I can say that it's image processing is very nice, nicer than the NX200, but I think it's the same sensor as the NX200. It lacks the combination phase and contrast autofocus of the NX300.

Camera buffs seem to dislike touch screens, but I like the way the NX2000 works and also its very large screen. It can be a big laggy sometimes, though, and the Tizen OS isn't fully polished. There is the occasional non-intuitive element, especially the way the control dial, which is also a button, takes you to the home screen rather than the last setting, if you just spin it. But the touch to focus is great s is the integration of online services and the companion phone app.

I would add that obviously it's old, and its sensor is old, but I have had it in really challenging situations, low light, limited time, with one-chance opportunities to capture images that I needed, and it just delivered great results.
