XA-10 v. XA3?

I've looked at comparisons between these cameras (inc http://mirrorlesscomparison.com/fujifilm-vs-fujifilm/xa3-vs-xa10/ ) but am most interested in what people here think, particularly if you've used the XA-10.

The two cameras seem very similar except for a few areas where the XA-3 has the edge (20 MP v. 16 MP, MPEG-4 video format, bit farther range for flash, touchscreen, hot shoe...) The XA3 also has 5 more film simulation modes, inc. Pro Neg Hi and Mono R/G/Ye. The price difference is only $100 and both look like very capable entry level interchangeable lens cameras.

XA-10 has a Bayer sensor, which I liked on my old XA1. Does the XA3 have that or X-trans?

My main question is that the XA3 came out in summer of 2016 and the XA-10 came out in December of 2016, but the XA3 seems as if it would be better (or the same) in all respects. Other than the $100 price difference, I don't know why Fuji would make two such similar entry level cameras.

Any thoughts on IQ, low light performance etc. for these two--and in particular, why one would choose an XA-10 instead?
