NX30 Viewfinder Clarity

I just picked up a used NX30. When I was reviewing images today for this first time, I noticed that the images seemed much clearer on the rear display than on the EVF which really surprised me, given the higher resolution of the EVF. On all of the other cameras I've used, I've found the opposite. I tried adjusting the diopter but I couldn't get the EVF to display the same level of sharpness as I could get on the rear screen. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Im trying to determine if this is an issue with this particular copy or is a function of this camera model in general. Or, am I overlooking a setting in the set-up which might address the problem?

Well, they both have a different look...

Although my NX30 EVF is fairly sharp (considering its resolution), it does look a bit different than when looking at the LCD.  I noticed that right after I got it (got mine new).  I just accepted it and began shooting.  The NX30 is really a fine photographic instrument and I enjoy using it - that's for sure.  In the end, the IQ from that camera can put a smile on your face.

Let me add on to this...

Using the NX30 the other day I found that although the EVF is supposed to be a hi-rez version, it does indeed look a little pale (colorwise) when comparing it to the LCD which is brighter and richer in colors.  I think this has to do with the type of EVF it is, allowing it to be adjusted up and down and actually stretched (pulled) out.

Re: Let me add on to this...

For me rear screen is less sharp than EVF so when I want to evaluate the sharpness I look to EVF and magnifying the picture.

The problem of EVF is its optics - it is difficult to find right adjastment.

Or the center is sharp and sides not or opposite.

Colours can be adjusted in menu.
