I like #1. The colors look realistic to me.

Nice shots, the first 2 look a little over processed but that just a personal taste situation

Thanks Mike!  I think I took #2 with flourescent white balance, which brings out the purples a bit more.  But to me, that was how the sunset looked more than #1.  Weird, huh?  Cindy

The interesting sky makes all the difference. One suggestion, pick the one you like best and post just that one because multiple versions of the same photo sort of diminish the impact. For me the first one would have been the one to post.

Re: Sunset on the Tracks. . .

Thanks Midwest,

I guess being a commercial/editorial, I am used to taking photos vertically and horizontally and showing both.  I kind of like the vertical best, because it shows the most sky.  Cindy

Re: Sunset on the Tracks. . .

Dear Cindy,

Agree with the rest - all three photos are lovely, #2 is the best.

Traditional (for me) question: I guess you developed it from RAW - what was the post processing, please?

Ta!

Very nice shots Cynthia.

The long exposure one is also very interesting.

Re: Sunset on the Tracks. . .

Thanks McDim!  I mostly used ACR and then used Nik's coloreffex pro's Remove Color Cast and Nik's sharpener pro to slightly sharpen.  Cindy
