Just bought an NX30, and in love with it
4

Hi,

I may sound crazy given I already own an NX500, but I've recently bought an NX30 for 300 $ with an 18-55 mm. Even though I'm completely keen on my lovely NX500 (and would never sell it), I've always thought that the lack of an EVF and a DLSR-like grip prevented me from fully expressing my creativity and being less shy when pressing the shutter.

Here's some pics I took last week with the NX30 and the 18-55 + 50-200 mm.

As I'm a beginner, I'd like to receive constructive criticism

Looks like you're having fun taking some very nice photos; I like them a lot. On the portrait I might experiment with a 1:1 crop, removing most of the dead space from the right side. If you know about the 'rule of thirds', you might be over utilizing it.

Very good, they don't look like amateurish photos, but I can tell that you are, and you know why? because all of your horizons are off!

My eyes are too sensitive in this matter, Samsung cameras have a level indicator build in, and I use a cheap bubble leveling indicator from ebay (a couple of euros each). Of course you can broke this "rule", and I do from time to time, to what I called a "Scandinavian framing", but that is not the case here.

You can have the 2 cameras, with different lenses, and never change a lens! That's what I do (3 cameras). NX500 is great, but NX30's ergonomics are something else, I have NX1 instead of NX30, but If I hadn't the NX1, I would love a NX30!

I think you are just showing off

Your puctures have great composition and invite your viewer to continue looking into a scene.

Great eye, Excellent pics.

If I could keep only one camera from all of my gear it would be my NX30.

Keep shooting and posting.
