330 HS error E32

My camera has never been abused or dropped, no dust and dirt in the lens, and hasn't even been used much I use it only occasionally. I have 3 batteries that are all good. I have tried reinserting the card, starting it w/o the card, leaving the battery out for a few hours, and a few other thing i can't recall i found in a google and youtube search. But it still does the same thing....start it, then one minute later it shuts down saying "an error was detected will shut down automatically restart camera error E32". I may be a bit off but thats about what it says and E32 is the exact error. I will not send it for repair so that out. I'll trash it first after going thru a fiasco with canon once already over a bum camera. But i'm out of work and can't afford another, so if anyone has suggestions even if it involves opening the camera up id like to hear it. I'm an electronic tech by trade so i'm quite used to tearing down electronics. Oh, and the lens always extends and retracts very reliably so i don;t think it;s that. At least not something causing drag on it.

It's a well reported lens error code if you google it.

Re: 330 HS error E32.............. FIXED !

Well, it;s working. I decided to take it apart and it would have been a bear to really disassemble it, and i'm used to disassembling electronics. But these are a nightmare so after getting the shell of i decided it;s too much trouble and put it back together. Now it works. Not really too surprised because i know how these things often go and many times it can just be something thats oxodized and needs to be moved or whatever. anyways, this is great because i need a camera right now and being out of work i can't afford to go buy one. Might be worth a try for anyone else with the E32 error.
