having some vicious gas

thinking of picking a couple of gx85 bodies. I currently shoot a couple of ep5 bodies. i'd keep them and have this second kit for a different shooting experience. would probably sell a body I don't really use and a lens to fund the purchase, but I can't say I need these panny bodies. and I don't like the idea of selling glass for a body. talk some sense into me for or against the purchase, please!

Start with simply selling what you do not use 😃

There is no cure for GAS!

Might as well go ahead and buy it - otherwise you'll just spend countless hours negotiating with yourself back and forth, reading reviews, etc, and you could have been spending all that time with enjoying your new gear!

Check you get can really get on with the EVF first. I don't, I can only really use the LCD screen to frame decently, which is no good to me.

Fortunately my wife really, really likes the camera and gets on with it. So it's a keeper.

My the EVF dioptre adjustment doesn't adjust far enough for my shortsightedness (-4 dioptre), whereas my EM-5 ii does. It wouldn't matter if you could use glasses with the GX85 EVF, but you can't (and again, with the Olympus, you can wear glasses while using the EVF).

Apart from that I really like the rest of the camera! Plus I bought the body only during the UK winter offer, for £240. Which helps!
