Re: Do you adapt?

I adapt M42 lenses to the M and an old 5D. There are some great old M42 lenses out there.

Most of the time I adapt for microscopy and macro. I managed to get my M and M3 working on a Nikor Macro Multiphot. I've also managed to Frankenstein together a Canon to Nikon F to C Mount adapter which I've used on a few Zeiss, Olympus and other Nikon microscopes. Generally a good modern macro lens will be much easier to use for most macro work, unless you're working with cross polarized light or you really need stupid high optical magnification.
