Sony RX100 long term report.

This camera was a true wonder when it was first launched many years ago, and now like me it is getting rather old, ...and still a staggering tool

Agree. I have one too and getting long in the tooth! It's been everywhere with me as my backup camera and have always been impressed by the image quality. I was thinking of getting myself the mark V. Is it worth it?

I also have version 1 of the RX100..a revolutionary, amazing camera. At some point, I'll upgrade and probably buy a Panasonic 1" sensor cam...I shoot RAW (so JPEG quality is not relevant) and like the Panasonic UI much more than Sony.

I bought mine in Aug 2012 and it still works great.

Misuse of the ability to do 100% pixel peeping is the bane of digital photography.
