Mine too. Terrific little camera. Hardly ever touch the DSLR these days.

Ditto, can't see anything else that I need or want to "upgrade" to.

Which is good as it lets me waste the saved money on other toys.

Yea... great camera and nice pic!  I have one also.

I am thinking however about getting on EM5 mkii for bushwalking with the Hi-Res mode though.  Lumped my em1 mkii around 15km today and that wasn't fun

Thoughts?  Worth the upgrade?

Cheers

I'm thinking that the use of the hi-res mode demands a good quality (possibly heavy) tripod thus another thing to lump around.

Worth the upgrade?

Only you can answer that one.

It's not old! And there is still little improvement since then.

Everything that came out after the generation of E-M5, E-P5, E-PL5... has been mostly about features, not about better image quality.

I don't have the E-P5 but the E-M5 and I certainly do not consider it my "old" camera. It's my newest camera, and hopefully will stay my "new" camera for a long time to come.

Yeah, I loved the E-P5 while I had one.  I'd still have it if it had had an integrated viewfinder.  The Pen-F has filled that hole.

Yep only sold mine because I got into video and the Gx85 replaced it. If I wasn't into video, the EP5 would have stayed with me. It IMHO is a great camera, something special about the way it feels in the hand.

Not much weight difference between the EM5 II and EM1, surely?

Hi res is not meant for trekking, since it needs a strong tripod. If you want higher resolution and light weight get a Sony with a high megapixel sensor.

Old E-P5...?

...I think not!!!

That E-P5 - along with other slightly older M43 models - are still very, very capable today and should take a back seat to no other model.

The E-P,5 if released today, would still be very much current.  I love the form factor - what a lovely camera, and I find the higher ISO capabilities pretty impressive.  I happen to keep the Sigma 19 MM on mine and they make for a very nice combination.

I would love to have the new Pen F - but at almost $1200 is still entirely too much for me.  I'll wait for that one - even if it takes a few years - for the price to come down substantially.

Nice pics BTW.
