Re: BLUE JAY DAY

The Blue Jays are beautiful birds.  The lens information shown is 28-135 or 17-85, but the focal length appears to be 300mm.  With that conflicting information can you clarify what focal length you used for these?

I was using a Canon 55-250mm IS lens for taking pictures of birds and cropping quite a bit.  Now I'm using a Tamron 150-600mm G1 lens (for about two years and five months).

The Blue Jays are very colourful.  We moved house last year (UK) and were surprised to see Jays in the suburban garden.  I managed to get quite a few including one of a stunned fledgling that had crashed into the back porch window.

I'd love the 150-600 but it is just too heavy so I make do with the kit 55-250.  This was is checking which lens I was using.
