Some Photo's With My Canon 300D Camera - Yes A 15 Year Old Camera!

Beautiful images! All cameras have their limitations, and knowing how to work within those with older bodies allows for continued use with outstanding results. I have a 40D that I recently used as a vacation camera. I kept shots at ISO 400 and under most of the time (with many at ISO 100 or 200). I was very happy with the images.

Congratulations on your work and your use of a Rebel that is still obviously quite capable in the right hands.

Now you are going to make me get my Digital Rebel out and take some photos.  That was my first DSLR and opened a whole new world of photography for me.

My first DSLR was a 350D.  I didn't change until I bought a used T4i earlier this year.

I switched because I was running into the 350D's limitations for doing serious macro, especially the lack of live view.

If not for that, I'd likely still be using the 350D.

I simply can't take a decent picture with a point and shoot.

I learned on a Vivitar 35mm SLR, and graduated to a Minolta XG1.

It's possible (but unlikely) that I'll someday own a mirrorless camera.  I'll NEVER own a point and shoot.  I'll take my old 350D to any p&s ever made.

Nice shots. I had the 300D. With a good lens and lighting it could produce good quality images. I used it as a backup to my 20D until the auto focus and LCD Screen went out. I still have it and can take pics but only guessing full manual settings. Can't see the results until I load the images on the computer but it can be fun and a challenge lol.
