Stereoscopic 360 degrés Photography, which single camera rig ?

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody know a good camera rig to shoot stereoscopic 360 photography with a single camera ?

option 1: I understand it should be made from a rotating, off centered camera. Do you know any brand or compagny doing that ? I guess also this output data should be stitched together with a specific software, to extract each stereoscopic slice..etc

option 2: Or do you know any good 360 camera on the market (something like the vuzecamera or twoeyes) but especially designed for shooting only or mainly photography (thus good sensor for still quality vs framerates) ?

Thank you!

Olivier

I have done some experimentation using one camera.

A 360 degree panoramic still image was made using the Sony Z5 premium smartphone .While running the Google Cardboard App ( free download ) the smartphone was held in front of my face and I rotated slowly through 360 degrees. This resulting panoramic still image was put into Video editor ( Sony Studio Platinum 12 ) and a stereo image was produce by mixing the image by itself with one of the images displaced. The 3d effect is a bit pseudo. To get a better 3d effect the camera should be in movie mode, and a single clip made whilst rotation through 360 degrees. This clip could then produce a better 3d effect in the video editor.
