Can I use the lens from Samsung NX1000 to a NX mini?

So as the title suggested, I am wondering you could use the lens from the Samsung NX1000 on the NX mini, or is the Mini's lens is a bit smaller?

I already have the NX1000, but the camera is not so good anymore, I'd like to buy a more advanced vlogging camera with a flip screen and this happens to be in the same 'NX' line as my Samsung camera. If you could answer this, that would be awesome, If not, Thank you for taking the time to come & help!

ANSWER:
Samsung NX mini Samsung NX1000

It is a different system, there are (very expensive) adapters that you can mount NX to NX mini.

I do not thing is worth it though, NX mini was ok, but surpassed quite easily later on from different system/compact cameras and they had only 3 native lenses.

Also, NX mini is not what you are describing, it was never a vlogging camera, but neither NX1000 was, for that matter.

Do you have any NX lenses? if you have only a kit lens maybe it would be better to invest on a different system, if you have more than one, and you absolutely love what you are having, you have to go to NX1 and NX500 which are still very relevant cameras. NX300, NX3000 and NX30 are great value right now also.

Thank you so much! Your comment was very helpful for me. I shall keep that in mind.

I originally have the NX1000, its small and compact. Unfortunately the system has gone abit.. let's say not so good, the dials keep changing it on it's  own. But I still have the Lens that originally came with it, was just wondering if I could use it with the body of a different Samsung camera. I shall search for those other cameras that you recommended.

Many Thanks!

u should try some spray for the electrical contacts first. If you only own 1 lens (and this is the 20-50mm I guess), then it isn't such a great investmemt in NX glass.

The best value for money offer is the NX300 right now and still is a quite competitive photo camera and with very good AF. The best NX are NX1 and NX500, but the most expensive also. You can find new NX500 with a 16-50 pz lens with image stabilizer for 600-700€…

Unfortunately the NX300 he recommended does not have a screen that is easy to view while recording (though viewing on your phone is an option if you have a compatible phone).  Some Samsung cameras compatible with your current lens that allow self viewing while recording without additional devices are the NX300M, the NX30, and the NX500.

The NX Mini was indeed marketed as a fashion/lifestyle vlogging camera, so I get why it was under consideration though other cameras are probably a bit more suitable for the task.

Wow, the prices on those adapters have ballooned.

Is the NX1000 a good vlogging camera? At least NX300 is a good photo camera! But you are right, the rest are even better because of the selfie screens (or fully articulated), just the NX300 can be found half thr price (or 1/3) of the NX300M/NX30, and 1/5 of the price of NX500.

Maybe a NX3000 will be adequate then, selfie screen, better video codec than NX300, and very cheap. I have one just because its video is better than NX300, even though NX300 is a much better camera overal!
