A set at the park taken with the Olympus 75mm f/1.8

This lens hadn't been getting much use lately, so I took it with me on late Saturday afternoon when we went to a nearby public space so the kids could play and run around after being in the A/C all day since it was very hot here in Australia.

I had an Olympus EM10 II and wanted to see what variety of photos I could get with the 75mm lens. I had some zoom lenses in the bag, but I think it is true that having a single focal length encourages creativity, since I was able to find plenty of images to take with the 75mm, and it never left the camera the whole time. In fact, these photos were all taken from just one spot - from within a circle of probably about 10 to 15m radius, as I looked for different images to capture in all directions. I also got some great portraits of the kids looking at the camera, but I don't put them on the internet for privacy.

Minor editing only, on the jpg files, using Irfanview.

Not sure how I got two sun stars from just one sun!

Not sure how I got two sun stars from just one sun!

The tree branch works as a aperture, there is two opening on the branch that lets the full sun behind it to be visible as two spotlights, creating toward camera a effect of the two light sources aka two suns, and then lens aperture creates from both a own star bokeh.
