400plus CF Card Issue (Canon 400d)

Hi,
A few months ago i installed 400plus to my 400d & it worked perfectly. (I installed 2 cards. one is 1gb, one is 16gb)
In these months i take photos several times (almost 3000 or 4000 shots taken)
Then i loose my 16gb card. my friend gave me a 32gb card but i used it without installing 400plus.
a few days ago i inserted my 1gb card to the body but there is red led & my body locked.
i pulled out battery, inserted again. after that i inserted 32gb card again but body gave me an error that: "There is a problem with cf card. Replace the cf card"
Finally i formatted both cards. 1gb card still lights red dot & body blocks, 32gb card ctill gives that error.
I can not use 2 cards (& any other cards) & still usable the body without card...
Please help me for this situation
Thanks from now

No need to repeat what you already have written. I asked if you have read the development thread at CHDK? I think you will get a better answer if you ask at CHDK. It was years ago I used 400plus. It seems your camera, that still try to read the boot sector if I am not wrong, does so when you insert a card.

Edit: Seems you already did and that they already help you. If I were you, I would use EOSCard to uncheck the bootable cards.
