This is a great little camera, the APS-C sensor makes it about as good as your going to get in something this small and the system menus are very fast to move through, especially with the I-function lenses. These have a button which allows you to tap through the exposure settings and adjust with the focus ring. It takes the weight off the body buttons, of which there are few due to the size of the body. This gets packed down and chucked into a rucksack for shooting whilst out in the mountains riding, hiking, climbing or skiing and it's small size and light weight is one of the primary importances to me. I like that I can quickly and easily manually set the white balance and adjust the temperature of the shot. I rarely use bracketing, but I have and it's been fine. The auto-magnified view on the view finder is brilliant for finding manual focus quickly, but this only works if your subject is well lit in the first place. I love that I can use the wifi function to drop pictures to my phone for editing and posting. I've got a real range of great, grungy, contrasty, warm images and with this camera I've really found my preferred 'look' to a photo. It's taken shots for prospectuses, open evenings, a couple have made it to magazine, and one even to a billboard. Love it.
Issues; High end ISO isn't stunning. Lenses seem sharp enough to a novice, but as I've been acquiring more demanding shots I've become less impressed by the overall sharpness - more a function of the lenses. No HDR function. Third party flash guns prove problematic. No viewfinder is a real pain, and I thought I could get by without one - this will be one of my main reasons for changing systems if and when I do. Real lack of 'system' support - few third party lenses / flashes and what is out there doesn't come up second hand very often. Don't buy if you are wanting to expand your range or get into photography as there just isn't anywhere to go with the system.
