GX7 panasonic - yellow exclamation mark on shut down

found out and now sorted. you need to reinitialize your camera to revert back to the lumix outro rather tha the exclamation mark. a service manual is needed to identify the necessary keystrokes.

I own a G85 Lumix and I love it, at one point I needed to know the shutter count, I managed to get it but after this, I got stuck with the yellow warning (!).

I have searched quite a lot for a way to cancel it. Here is what I found and it did work for me as I now have the Lumix logo whenever I turn off the camera.

Warning: it returns your camera to factory settings, so you will loose all saved settings and have to redo them (set time, date, custom settings, etc).

You may want to try it at your own will. Again, this is what I did on my Lumix G85, it may not be the same on other models.

•  Turn camera on
•  Set mode to P (program)
•  Press and hold Menu set and WB (right arrow)while turning off
• Press DISP, WB (right arrow) and again WB (right arrow)
• The Lumix logo should appear instead of the yellow (!) warning.

You will have to set time, date, etc.
